This includes the continuous review and optimisation of business practices to meet today’s needs without compromising the opportunities of future generations.

Intention

Viseca is a responsible provider of payment card services that creates sustainable value, conserves resources and acts ethically and fairly at all times.

Goals and commitments

Viseca has defined the following goals and commitments. The objectives are regularly reviewed and updated based on new findings, developments and strategic priorities.

Ongoing commitments:

  • No new antitrust proceedings against Viseca
  • No confirmed incidents of corruption
  • No reportable data security breaches
  • Damage due to extreme weather events of no more than CHF 125 000
  • Maximum 1% lost customers in relation to the average customer base
  • Average outstanding exposure of over-indebted customers: maximum CHF 3 000
  • Obtain and maintain “We Pay Fair” certificate
  • Maximum employee turnover rate of 15%
  • Investment in specialised training and management development
  • Preventive measures to promote occupational health and safety
  • No child labour in the supply chains


Targets to be achieved by 2027:

  • Reduce energy consumption in offices and data centres by 10% per transaction
  • Reduction of the total weight of paper by 30%
  • Reduction of the proportion of newly issued cards in the card portfolio by 10%
  • Increase in the proportion of cards made of rPVC to 80%


Targets to be achieved by 2030:

  • 100% electricity from renewable energy for the office space
  • Scope 1 and 2 emissions to net zero


Targets to be achieved by 2050:

  • Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions to net zero

Consolidated sustainability report

The sustainability report, prepared in accordance with the Swiss Code of Obligations, DDTrO, TCFD and GRI, summarises all aspects relevant to sustainability in a consolidated presentation.
